Description

A Death is set in the Black Hills of Dakota Territory in 1889 and follows Jim Trusdale, a drifter arrested for the murder of a young girl. Although the evidence against him appears overwhelming, questions remain about what truly happened. As the investigation unfolds, the town must confront issues of justice, prejudice, and certainty. Written in the style of a classic Western, the story explores the consequences of judgment and the troubling possibility that truth is not always as clear as it seems.
