Tin House

Tin House was a highly respected American literary magazine founded in 1998, with its first issue published in 1999. It became known for publishing outstanding fiction, poetry, essays, and interviews by both emerging and established writers. The magazine stood out for its themed issues, which explored topics such as memory, reinvention, and cultural identity. It also championed new talent through its “New Voices” section, helping launch many writing careers. In addition to the magazine, Tin House expanded into book publishing and writers’ workshops. Although the magazine ended in 2019, its influence continues through Tin House Books and literary programs.
