Description
Drunken Fireworks follows Alden McCausland, who spends summers at Lake Abenaki with his mother after a stroke of unexpected good fortune. Across the lake lives the wealthy Massimo family, and a harmless Fourth of July fireworks display soon escalates into an outrageous annual competition. As both sides try to outdo each other with bigger and more extravagant displays, the rivalry spirals hilariously out of control. Told with warmth, humor, and a touch of chaos, the story explores pride, envy, class differences, and the absurd lengths people will go to win.

Humorous, chaotic, and entertaining—King turns rivalry into explosive comedy.
