Description
Duma Key. After a devastating construction accident leaves him physically and emotionally scarred, Edgar Freemantle retreats to Duma Key, a secluded island off the coast of Florida, hoping to rebuild his life. As he recovers, he discovers a remarkable talent for painting. What begins as a form of therapy soon reveals itself to be something far more mysterious and unsettling.
Edgar’s artwork appears to possess strange powers, bringing hidden memories to the surface and attracting forces that should have remained buried in the past. With the help of his elderly neighbor Elizabeth Eastlake and her caretaker Wireman, he uncovers a dark history connected to the island and to an ancient evil that has lingered there for generations.
As the paintings grow more powerful and the supernatural manifestations intensify, Edgar realizes that his newfound gift comes with a terrible price. To protect those he loves, he must confront the malevolent presence behind the visions before it unleashes destruction once again.

A haunting masterpiece of art, memory, loss, and supernatural dread.
